It’s another open mic Pitch Night! This time, at Wandering Monsters, where you can order drinks and food and enjoy hearing stories from people who want to be considered for our next main-stage show, “trueSIGN”! For the 14th time, True Theatre will be joining the “kinda weird” folks at the Cincinnati Fringe Festival to share true, personal stories from real Fringe artists, with stories about their trials and successes involving being a working artist. It’s terrific as a stand-alone event or as a complement to seeing our storytellers’ shows as part of the Festival. Tickets are on sale now! Pitch Nights are open mic opportunities to share a story for consideration at an upcoming show… in this case, “trueHAND”. At this event, we’re looking forward to hearing your “hand”-themed stories! Make ‘em 5-6 minutes and don’t worry about perfection. Just come and have fun. All tellers will be contacted after the event for follow-up discussions about your story ideas. And, yes, you can just come and watch if you like. It’s FREE for everyone to attend! Regardless if you can make it or think you can make it or can’t make it, do consider sharing your story ideas with us through our Share Your Story page (it’s a particularly great way to let us know to expect to see you on Tuesday, too!).

We’re looking for your prom-themed stories!

They don’t have to be about your HIGH SCHOOL prom (though we are certain there are plenty of those stories out there to fill a whole evening!), but it has to be about SOME KIND OF prom.

Come share a 5-6 minute version of your story at our Pitch Night and you might be asked to develop it into a longer story for our April 28th show, "truePROM" at Memorial Hall! Whether or not that happens, you'll still have fun, sharing your story along with everyone else at Pitch Night!
